The 2004 BMW 7-Series Satellite radio is newly optional last 2004 in BMW’s flagship sedans. The 7-Series models are called 745i, 745Li, and 760Li. The Li suffix denotes a 5.5-inch-longer wheelbase and body. The 745 models have a V8 engine, the 760Li a V12. All use a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift control via steering-wheel buttons. Standard features include ABS, antiskid/traction control, and BMW’s Active Roll Stabilization designed to counteract body lean. Standard on 760Li and optional on other 7s is an Adaptive Ride Package with automatically adjusting shock absorbers and rear self-leveling suspension. V8s come with 18-inch wheels, the 760Li and V8 Sport Package with 19s.
Buy used BMW 7 series which comes with front knee airbags, front torso side airbags, and front and rear head-protecting tubular side airbags are standard. Rear torso side airbags are optional. All 7s have BMW’s iDrive, which controls the audio, navigation, phone, and climate functions via a console “joystick” knob and displays the settings on a dashboard screen. Conventional switches are also provided for basic audio and climate adjustments. BMW Assist emergency and concierge service is standard. It features standard on the 760Li and optional on other 7s include front- and rear-obstacle detection and ventilated front and rear seats. The BMW 7 Series

Buy used BMW 7 series. Its version of the big, luxurious German flagship sedan earned a sleek redesign for 1995, not unlike the midsize 5-Series, still rear-wheel drive. It went against the cream of the competition: Infiniti Q45, Lexus LS 400, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Part “executive express” and part technical showcase, the 7-Series came with a choice of two engines: V8 for the 740i and long-wheelbase 740iL, or V12 for the long-wheelbase 750iL.
Buy used BMW 7 series with extended wheelbases were 5.5 inches longer than the standard 740i model. The 740i went on sale first, followed by the long-wheelbase editions. Longer than before, the new model was slightly wider and lower, and about 150 pounds heavier. Beneath the hood of the 740i/iL sat the same 282 horsepower, dual-cam 4.0-liter V8 engine as before, driving a 5-speed electronic automatic transmission. The 740iL gained adaptive shift control, which changes shifts points based on how the car was driven. Exchanging its previous 4-speed automatic transmission for a 5-speed unit, the 750iL also lost its 5.0-liter V12 engine in favor of a more potent 5.2 liter edition. Horsepower rose from 296 to 322.

The 2009 BMW 7 Series interior

A new “door-anchoring system” was said to “hook” trailing edges of the doors into the main body structure, for greater rigidity in a crash. Doors would be released after the impact. A new “residual heat” feature could warm the interior for 16 minutes after the engine was shut off. New 14-way power front seats with 4-way lumbar adjustment were installed (8-way lumbar in the 750iL). A new 330-watt audio system was standard in the 750iL. The full-size luxury car introduced in 1977 and continues today through five generations as the favored European government or personal car. It is sold only as a four-door sedan. It is part of BMW’s E and F models that quickly gained popularity as an understated vehicle denoting prestige and wealth.

The redesigned E65 7 Series created brouhaha with its new and large “bustle-back” trunk and series computer software problems that forced BMW to buy back many 2002-03 models. The F01 7 Series debuted in late 2008 with a significant face-lift of larger twin grilles, reconfigured headlamps and a longer wheelbase by 5.5 inches than the previous generation BMW. Buy used BMW 7 series, ordered with special security features such as carbon fiber reinforced armor plating, bullet-proof windows and run flat tires.
